We will start our tour of the village of Rye Brook at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center located on Ridge Street. Here one can find everything from a full-service supermarket, bank, bakery, barber, books, deli, family dining, hardware, optical, pottery making, sporting goods, toys and women’s, men’s and children’s apparel. Additional shops and services are available in two additional shopping areas just steps away. Just beyond the center, if you turn left onto Westchester Avenue you will see the luxurious Rye Town Hilton Hotel complex.
Continuing north along Ridge Street, past the many colonial, ranch and split-level houses, you will arrive at the scenic Crawford Park, a 36-acre preserve which contains the early 20th century Crawford Mansion, an expansive lawn and sunken garden, pavilion and athletic fields. Further down on Ridge Street you can spy Blind Brook Estates, a luxury housing enclave built in 2000 containing 40 colonial style houses.
At the end of North Ridge Street, turn left onto King Street. The Royal Executive Corporate Park is at the corner of King Street and Anderson Hill Road. This 80-acre office park is directly adjacent to the Arrowwood Conference Center. Doral Arrowwood is a 114-acre conference center and resort designed to accommodate corporate executives and weekend resort guests. If you continue north along King Street you will reach the Westchester County Airport.
