First stop: Pelham. After a 28-minute train ride you will find yourself in the middle of Pelham, the first station stop on Metro North and the oldest town in Westchester County. This tightly knit community is comprised of two villages: Pelham and Pelham Manor. The town’s 2.1 square miles include gracious homes on tree-lined streets and an old-fashioned downtown populated with independent family-run businesses. Big box stores are just a short drive away in neighboring Mount Vernon. The homes, primarily Tudors, Colonials and Victorians, date from the turn of the century and include some of the most architecturally interesting examples from that period.
