Flint Park is one of several parks in Larchmont which provide recreational opportunities to both adults and children.  There are tennis and paddle courts, baseball and softball fields, a band shell and a brand new children’s playground.  Recently, turf soccer fields were added through public fundraising.  At Memorial Park movies are shown and concerts held while families picnic on the lawn during summer months.  There are children's playgrounds and fields there as well.

The Hommocks Middle School campus houses an ice skating rink and several large indoor and outdoor pools for use by the entire Mamaroneck Town community.  All Town residents are eligible to sign up for children’s summer camp programs, which includes music camp.  A wide variety of classes and programs ranging from yoga to golf are held year round by the Mamaroneck Recreational Department.  In addition, there are extensive adult education courses offered through Mamaroneck High School with classes such as beginning Italian, garden design and photography.  The library and The University Club host interesting lectures by authors and journalists while raising funds for their college scholarship program.
